2nd Bullet - [open commentlog]
[Veronica has finally gotten used to the idea that she isn't going home anytime soon. So since she's stuck in this place, she's going to make the most of her time here.
She ventures out in morning only for breakfast before retreating back to her room. She's used to keeping a night schedule, so being up in the morning is weird for her.
In the early afternoon, Veronica decides to check out the thermal pools, looking forward to being completely warm for once since the snow started falling.
Later in the evening, after dinner, Veronica can be found in the tavern, sampling the exotic liquors. Can't mix a good drink if she doesn't know what they taste like, right?]

The fallen arch-angel was wandering around in a few layers of clothing, the outer of his attire which resembled priest robes. He turned in to the taven for a mug of ale or anything that would kill the time. Not like he needed it...
He spotted Veronica and rose an eyebrow, quickly flashing his black eyes to get an understanding of what he could be dealing with before approaching.]
A lovely evening, isn't it?

Oh yes, quite lovely indeed.

May I join the lovely lady for a drink?

[Veronica stands up and leans over the bar to grab another glass. She slides it towards Sandrath and gestures with the bottle.]
Want one?
no subject
If you're willing to pour me one or I can do it myself.

[She pours him a drink and tops her own off before setting the bottle down on the bar between them. She has no idea what it is, but damn does it kick.]

[He tipped the glass to her before taking a sip.]
So, are you new to the Keep?
no subject
[She raises her glass in return.]
Relatively new. I've been here about a month.

[He sips his drink casually and leans against the counter with an elbow.]

[Veronica takes a small sip of her drink, turning so she can lean back against the bar.]

Of course. Home sweet home, to be with family or deal with unfinished business.

Veronica makes her way over to Mads and slides into the seat next to him, trying to peer over his shoulder to see what's in the file before he can close it.]
What are you up to, dear?
no subject
Mads doesn't bother closing the folder. It's New American. She can't read it.]
Enjoying my dinner. What are you doing, besides perhaps being far too inquisitive for your own good?
no subject
Dammit. And here she was hoping to get some interesting tidbits of information.]
Oh, nothing. Just enjoying my evening.

[He motions for her to sit across from him. She's pretty so he doesn't mind.]
